Today, a group of professors nominated the famous politician for Nobel Peace Prize. According to representatives of one of the universities in New Jersey, specialists from the institutes dealing with Russian studies initiated the decision. However, there is no information about the names of the initiators.
According to Forbes, the idea of nominating Navalny was supported even by those experts who previously negatively treated his activity, but radically changed their minds over the past few weeks.
Earlier, the world political community showed a special interest in Aleksei after the news about his suspected poisoning in Tomsk. Navalny had spent some time in a Russian hospital and later was transferred to Germany, where he is currently undergoing treatment. The politician was in a coma for more than 2 weeks. Foreign experts and colleagues of Navalny agreed that Aleksei was poisoned with Novichok.
